These events feature industry experts speaking on an array of essential topics for Board members. Collections in a Pandemic

This webinar focuses on Collections in a Pandemic and features Attorney Tim Sellers of Sellers, Ayers, Dortch & Lyons,  P.A. In this presentation, Mr. Sellers covers a variety of collections issues that many community associations are facing in light of the Covid-19 pandemic. First, he discusses the attitude that associations must adopt towards collections in our current environment and gives advice on how associations should approach members facing financial hardships. Next, he goes into detail regarding the actions associations must take when it comes to filing claims of lien and accepting installment or deferred payment plans from members with delinquent accounts. He ends his presentation with a discussion on the expectations that community associations should have regarding collections during this pandemic and drives home the importance of planning for the future during this unpredictable time.
