COVID19 RESPONSE

OWNER PORTAL

If you have not yet registered or forgotten your password to gain access to your owner’s portal, click here.  Please take a moment to learn about all the features available in the portal such as paying your assessments, updating your contact information, submitting maintenance requests, accessing community documents and more.

MAKING PAYMENTS

Making a payment has never been easier and more secure.  Please use the CAMS owner portal to set up payments for your assessments using your checking account, savings account and all major credit cards.

COMMON AREAS AND AMENTITIES

To comply with CDC recommendations and continued efforts of social distancing, your community may temporarily close any and all common area amenities such as the pool, gym, playgrounds, business center, library, and any other common areas or amenities not listed.  Access to key fobs and other physical items will be sent by mail upon request.

SOCIAL DISTANCING

Many experts also are urging people to practice “social distancing,” which is the idea of maintaining a roughly 6-foot distance between other people. It also means limiting nonessential travel, avoiding public transportation when possible, working from home, and skipping social gatherings.  Consider delaying any non-essential work in your home and limiting visitors in the interest of reducing the risk of exposure to others around you.

STAFFING

The community may experience temporarily staff shortages at communities that have onsite personnel.  Move-ins and move-outs, open houses, construction work, social events, large deliveries, and maintenance may be curtailed until staffing levels return to normal and the coronavirus pandemic is better controlled.  Access to key fobs and other physical items will be sent by mail upon request.

MAINTENANCE REQUESTS

Please note many of our service providers and partners may only be responding to emergency maintenance requests at this time. However, if you have a non-emergency maintenance request, please submit the request via your owner portal so that your community manager has documentation of the issue and may take appropriate action to resolve the concern.

DIFFICULTY WITH PAYMENTS DUE TO COVID19

As we navigate this difficult time together, we are sensitive to the needs of owners who may be impacted financially.  Please understand that CAMS is not able to issue fee waivers due to personal hardship without the approval of your community’s Board of Directors.  The payment of assessments is required by law and there is no ability for the Association to suspend payment of assessments.  Any payment plan requests should be submitted in writing so that the Board may consider the requests.

ACTIONS OF THE ASSOCIATION

If appropriate, the association may notify residents that an individual in the community has contracted the virus.  The association will be prepared to reasonably accommodate an owner who is sick by postponing violation hearings, extending deadlines on architectural applications, or granting payment extensions if appropriate.  These actions will be taken to ensure the health and welfare of the residents of each community. To the best of our ability, residents will be informed of all relevant developments and how they affect association operations.

RESPONSIBILITY OF OWNERS

It is also incumbent upon residents to take this situation seriously and do their part to minimize the spread of this deadly disease. The association highly encourages you to review safety guidelines and look for updates from the CDC, the local health department, and the World Health Organization.

We wish you and your families well. Stay healthy, and please let us know if you have any questions.
