CAMS Gives Back

In addition to serving the associations we manage, CAMS’ team members take pride in contributing to the communities we serve individually and corporately through “CAMS Gives Back,” a program we organized to create opportunities for our employees to support the communities that support us. Recent volunteer events include:

  • Gathering coats for the homeless
  • Participating in Work on Wilmington (WOW) by painting at the Boys & Girls Brigade Club:
  • THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!! “I want to offer you a very warm and heartfelt “THANK YOU” for giving your time and hard work on Saturday painting the Brigade Boys & Girls Club! I can’t express my appreciation enough! Your work won’t go unrewarded!” ~ 2010 Work On Wilmington
  • Sponsor the YMCA soccer league

EASTER SEALS

CAMS, in partnership with CENTURY 21 Sweyer & Associates and Sweyer Property Mangement, is proud to have raised over $550,186 for Easter Seals UCP of North Carolina.

Easter Seals UCP of North Carolina has a strong reputation for successfully helping people with disabilities in our community achieve greater independence. They are the leading non-profit provider of services for individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, physical and mental disabilities, and other special needs. For more than 85 years, they have been offering help and hope to children and adults living with disabilities, and to the families who love them. Through therapy, training, education and support services, Easter Seals creates life-changing solutions so that people with disabilities can live, learn, work and play in their communities.

We believe strongly in supporting the local community that supports us. More than 90 percent of funds raised for Easter Seals stays in our local community to help support the Children’s Development Center right here in Wilmington NC. More than 89 percent of every dollar Easter Seals UCP North Carolina’s spends goes directly to support programs offered to children and adults with disabilities.  Click here to read how Easter Seals UCP has helped one of CAMS' employees, Bruce Cook, become independent again.
